Hi,
I want to know how I can search the Hebrew Bible to see where two different terms occur in the same verse, or within a larger specified context.
Thanks.
You don't need a syntax search to find where two terms occur in the same verse. Just type term1 AND term2 in a bible search. If you don't know how to enter Hebrew characters in a search box, just ask.
<edit>Actually, to be a bit more helpful, the Wiki shows how to enter Hebrew terms: http://wiki.logos.com/Detailed_Search_Help#Searching_in_Greek_and_Hebrew</edit>

This link should help you http://wiki.logos.com/A_Strategy_for_Syntax_Search
There are a couple of different ways tackle this
Within the Same Verse
Within the same chapter
A syntax search could be used to find cases where they occur in the same sentence and the sentence spanned multiple verses. However, I don't remember if that happens in the Hebrew Bible.
within a larger specified context
The answer to this question depends on what the specified context is. In a basic search, you could use term1 WITHIN xx WORDS term2, which would work fine. If by specified context you mean a syntactic unit, then you will need a syntax search. Syntax searches (particularly in Hebrew) are sufficiently complicated to make it difficult to give general advice. Perhaps you could let us know what sort of context you had in mind?
Here is an example of a Hebrew Syntax search that would allow you to verse markers but keep it within cohesive units (according to the Andersen-Forbes Scheme).
