new putter, new download

Well, Best Buy finally stopped playing games and junked my old computer after sending it in 3 times and never getting it fixed. Now its back to the 10 gig download. Can't wait till I see how well it runs on the computer they replaced it with. I about doubled my specks!

You know the drill, we want specifics man. Post back here when you're up and running.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

And I thought I was going to read you were debating on whether to purchase a new golf putter or a new Logos resource. I pray you have a better go with the new computer. Lord bless!

I still have my dad's old Ping Z Blade, but last year I got a great deal on a Taylor Made Rossa Monza Spider Vicino. The Z Blade is nostalgic, but the Rossa is really solid. I'll keep both and play the Rossa this year, I know it saved me at least a couple strokes a round.
Not sure what I could have gotten as a download with what I spent for the new putter, but whatever it was, I'm okay with it, even with snow on the ground now.

With my computer experience lately, I could have made good use for that kind of putter.Of course, I guess all this confusion would never had been if I just spelled out computer, or left off that second t. Hummm...second t...wonder why everything keeps coming around to golf terms. Anyone feeling ready for spring?

What fun would that be?

That's what made it so fun. I am way ready for spring and it won't be here for another two months! Thanks for making me think about golf. And I hope that new puter works out for you too...[Y]

Daytime highs have been in the mid-60s here, and my great-granddaughter keeps opening the cabinet and pointing to the golf balls and saying "Ball"! Wonder if there is some Divine guidance at work here? [:D]

I don't think there can be any doubt about it Jack (but then I'm Presbyterian and we see the hand of God in everything!). I can tell you if it were 60 here I'd be off the puter and out with the putter as much as I could!

It is in the 70's in the Bahamas. Come on over, with enough notice, I will pick you up at the airport. Never played Golf though.

Thanks for the invite, but I fear that I must pass—No time available for the trip. Must travel to North Chicago for my grandson's Boot Camp graduation.

Well that's mighty nice of you. Thank you for the invite! I wish I could, but I'm afraid that I have neither money nor time available to do it.
God bless you for your kindness though, enjoy that beautiful weather. I'm off for a nice long walk in the relatively balmy 35 degree sunshine!

The new machine will run circles around the old one Philip. AMD dual core processors tend to be very sluggish when compared to any Intel from the Core 2 Duo and later. It will be interesting to see your benchmarks on the new system.

Going to Great Lakes Jack? My son did his boot camp there. He was in for six years and got out in May 2009.
It's interesting that as we all talk about warm weather and playing golf I am watchng it snow outside [st] with a possible 6" in the forecast. I am so ready for the 70's and golf weather. [<:o)]

Yes, Great Lakes. I attended there in 1955 (20 years). My son, the father of the new Sailor, was there in 82 (28 years & counting). Perhaps I started a dynasty. [8-|]

A dynasty of which to be truly proud. [Y]
