RC3 Pronounciation still not working and crashing
This module has continued to be problematic. At one time just the ESV interlinear was the problem. This time the application crashed after I attempted to have a word pronounced from the NA27. Logfile attached.

James, it appears that your log file is for an older version. Logos have turned of logging and so any log files will be the last that were left before this was done. Bradley has pointed us to a javascript to enable logging but a few of us are having trouble getting this working.
You may need to give a good description or if you are able to show a video so we can see what is going on.

I had the same problem that L4 crushed after trying to pronounce a Greek word in the Word Study. It did not repeat the problem after restarting the program and also, now we have another version of Logos again, so I don't know if that is solved.
P.S. Concerning logging, Bradley gave us some advice somewhere (sorry, I don't have time to look for it) it was possible to logg just one case with starting with the key (Ctrl or so). Sorry for the incomplete info.

I'm running the latest RC-3 and I don't even have the option to "pronounce" as I did before!
When running an EG...no little speaker anymore...
When right-clicking on a word in the ESV...no "pronounce" option...
huh?

I have the latest version of RC and still have random crashes when trying to run pronunciation of the Greek word. My last thing I did before the crash:
1) opened Logos4 (with the CTRL to get the log)
2) opened Word Study and wrote kyrios in Greek. Did the Word Study Search.
3) tried pronounce kyrios and it worked.
4) went down to other words and tried to pronounce angelos in Greek and it crashed. (As previously on the same word)
5) saved the log and enclosed to this post.
My system:
Dell XPS 1330M, CPU
Intel Core2 Duo 2GHz2 GB RAM, 14 GB free
on the HardDiskNVidia GeForce 8400M
GS 128MBWindows Vista
Business (32) SP2 (Czech localization), IE8, using as default Firefox 3.5,
AVG8, Windows FirewallBohuslav

Just to add one more observation to the above:
I noticed it crashes when Bible Word Study is not finished with searching and I try to use pronunciation. If it is finished or I hit the stop sign and than use the pronunciation, it works well.

I tried this just to check it out. It seemed to be working ok yesterday before the latest RC 5? update but crashed after. Adding log file because you can never have enough information on this problem. I had no probs with it reading aloud even in the greek texts but I haven't been able to get back to check it again.

I just checked this out and the read out loud works fine without crashing

I know this sounds like a broken record but I continue to have problems with the pronounciation module. Again, the crash typically occurs after attempting to use the funtionality from the ESV interlinear. Today it occurred while trying to use pronounciation from the NA27. Is this unique to my machine? If so, any idea how I isolate the problem? See attached logfile.

We think we've discovered what the problem is, and have fixed it this morning. We hope to publish the fix to you (by releasing a new RC) early next week.

SR-1 (http://community.logos.com/forums/t/3108.aspx) is now released. It fixes a crash playing pronunciations that we found in our own testing. We hope it's the same crash that you're experiencing; please try it out and let us know.

Thank you Bradley. It works perfect, at least for me. I started the Bible Word Study of kyrios and before it finished searching clicked the Greek word pronunciation icon and it pronounced without crashing (it crashed always before in that situation).

Hi Bradley
This seems to be working fine for me as well. I little more intensive testing might be in order than just checking out a couple. Will keep this in mind over the next little while.
Thank you for getting it fix up.

Installed SR-2! Pronounciation module seems to be working correctly. Thanks to you and the team!

Hi Bradley:
Pronounce works on XP "tower"
BUT NOT on Windows7 laptop (get spinning cursor and a "not-responding" -end up having to re-boot)
