How do I turn off the pop-up Strong's definitions in the MAC version?
I have not found a way.
For what it is worth, the new 4.2a RC-1 seems to have turned this feature off. I am not getting the automatic pop-up in 4.2a RC-1.

Do you have the reverse interlinear enabled at the bottom of the pane? This prevents the pop-up appearing so just thought it worth checking!

Perhaps we are talking about two different things. When I responded to your original post, I knew you said "popup", but I assumed you meant the parsing information at the bottom left of the screen. Did I make an incorrect assumption?
Yes - we were talking about different things. Before I went to 4.2a RC-1, whenever I hovered over a word in a Bible version, a pop-up window would appear showing a Strong's Number definition. I have a number of friends that are showing the same thing. I can't screen capture it anymore because 4.2a RC1 isn't doing it anymore.
Before the 4.2a Beta program started, I was primarily using L4 Win under Parallels. However, I have now repented of my sins and only fire up the Windows version to take Notes or rearrange items on my Home Page Ribbon. I said all that to say, "I do not remember ever seeing the popup to which you are referring."
