Needing to Reinstall Logos 4

I had a problem with the computer not recognizing my disc drive.  After taking the computer to Best Buy the could not fix the registry error so I had to reset the defaults and restore my defaults from Carbonite.  In the process I lost Logos 4.  I am reinstalling this and I remember there is a long installation process and indexing procedures.  Since there have been numerous upgrades from the original release do I need to change any settings to make sure I receive the most current updates?

Currently the newest Logos version is in Release Candidate. It requires a re-indexing of all resources. So, why not get ahead of the game? If you install from here http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/InstallerBeta/Logos4Setup.exe you'll get a very stable version and no need to re-index once the next version goes gold.
