Looking at Sean Boisen's talk at BibTech, makes me wonder whether Logos will be adding Biblical Events tagging to Logos in the future. Can't quite think how this might work, but it sounds intriguing!

Oh yes, that looks intriguing! I can envision how it would work. They'd add a new module Biblical Events to go with Biblical People, Places, and Things (notice how they've left space in the Tools menu below BP/P/T). And in it they'd put such events as the Exodus, the Annunciation, the Transfiguration, the Feeding of the Five Thousand, etc. There would have to be controlled vocabulary to describe events that we might come up with various ways of describing, such as "that time when Elijah had the contest with the Prophets of Baal on Mt. Carmel" (e.g., "Elijah and the Prophets of Baal" might be the official name for that event, but they might also accept "Mount Carmel" as a synonym)
This would be a nice feature and I can see the events having several synonyms tagged to them.
It would be REALLY useful if they included calculated dates under the various theories. I have a dated-events database on my system, and the quick crosss-comparisons turn out to be the most useful.
