It has become unbearably long to input passages into the Passage List. (10 to 20 seconds for each passage).
The "compact" view also does not seem to be working. I can't change it from the "full" view.

Are you running the latest release 4.2a SR-1? We made some pretty big speed improvements to Passage List in the 4.2a releases.
