A notes file that you would want to have a table of contents in, could be accomplished in the following way.
1. In the note file add a note and drag it to the top of the note file and name it Table of Contents.
2. In that note make a hyperlink to a Bible passage, lets just say Psalm 119:1
3. Start a new note file (to only be used temporarily)
4. Go down the verses in Psalm 119 and create and name a note on each verse according to the names you would give your table of contents, sending the notes to the temporary file.
5. Go back to your original file and scroll it to where you want each of the sections in your note file to be divided and drag the appropriate Bible verse note to that location from the temporary file.
6. Change the color of your Bible note icons to different color so you know they are not actually Bible notes.
Now when you open your note file, click on your hyperlink to open a Bible (perhaps one you never use) and there you can go down the verses and hover over the note icons to read them as a table of contents until you get the one you want and click on it and your note file opens to that location. To use a different Bible than your prioritized Bible you have to create a actual hyperlink and not just type in the Bible & chapter. Not real pretty but it works.
