Apollos Old Testament Commentary Series

I would love to see Logos add Apollos Old Testament Commentary Series to the library. I think it is a great series in the making from IVP.

Hi Rusty
Absolutely agree with you.
It was suggested at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/10688.aspx but good to flag it again!

I agree. This would be great to have.

With all the nt commentaries becoming available, it would be great to get these to help balance our collections! IVP seems to have a good relationship with Logos, so this should be viable!

I realize there are only a few volumes released so far, but it would be really nice to hear from Logos if this is being worked on yet or not… Pillar Upgrades are great but I personally want the old testament companion series ASAP….

I hope there is a plan to include this in LOGOS.[Y]

With six volumes already in print, this one should be a no-brainer. [:D]

Hope this series will be considered to be released on logos soon!

There must be some issue at IVP's end otherwise I'm sure Logos would have this by now! Hopefully it's not going to be like the Bible Speaks Today OT where they're not going to release it till the whole series is done!

Anything happening on this... could have used it, and would have bought it, today...

This thread was started in 2011. My last post above was in 2014. Still no sign of the Apollos series in Logos!
I'm about to start preaching through 1 Samuel and Firth's AOTC commentary on 1-2 Samuel is the ONLY one that Tremper Longman gives 5 stars in his commentary survey. If it was in Logos I'd buy it without thinking about it.

Often times there seems to be no rhyme or reason why things are not in Logos. For example the final volume of the Westminster Bible companion was released years ago... I inquired as to why it was not yet available and told it is in the queue to be added into the PREPUB system.. I have no idea if the Apollos series is even in the queue to be added but won't hold my breath.

I actually could use Firth's 1 Samuel commentary for a paper I am working on right now. I enjoy this series, but usually just make copies at my local library. Would buy it in Logos if available, though.
