Having been using the Logos 4 app since it launched, I have finally found a way to do true copy and paste. It involves using another free app called SuperFilesLite that will take an Image you create in Logos 4 App and covert it to a text file. It takes a few steps, but it works.

You can check out my walkthrough by going to www.davidcrowe.org. Search for Logos 4 if it is not the top story on my blog.

Has anyone else found a better way?

Thanks, David.  That is helpful for times when we really need to paste from iPad.  There will be times when that is good to know.

Of course, one would not want to do that regularly.  As they say down here in the south, that's "too much sugar for a nickle."

Hopefully, Logos will find a way to soon add copy / paste to the app.  As it now stands the app is extremely useful as a ebook reader for my Logos library, but less so for study.  Still, just being an ebook reader for Logos books makes it very worthwhile to own an iPad.

I am yearning for the system wide tap - "cut | copy | select all" feature to arrive. Oh how useful it would make Logos on the iPad.

Aaron - I fully agree with you. In a pinch, this method works allright, but it would be so much easier if it were native within the Logos app.

David, I don't actually get the "crop & OCR" option (step 6 in your tutorial). I suspect it has something to do with the Gdocs account? I cant see where to log in, if that is the needed step.

EDIT: hold that thought. It was as I suspected and I found where under the little cloud icon.
