Devs,

the program now crashes when attempting to print/export clippings.  Attempted this twice with same results.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with print/export of clippings, because it is such a useful, time-saving function.

FWIW mine still works with no problems.

Hope the developers can suggest a fix for you.

    Every blessing

We'll review your logs. If you can provide additional repro steps, that would be helpful. Also, does it occur with a specific Clippings document or any?

    Melissa,

apparently it is with this particular clipping, as I made a test clipping from DPL and print/export worked as expected.

Here is the list of resources for the problem clipping:  Synonyms of the OT; Eerdmans Bible Dictionary; TWOT; New Bible Dictionary; Pulpit Commentary; NAC.

Steps to reproduce: once clippings are completed, click on print/export, click save file as: Rich Text Format and the program crashes.

Now, I'm more confused as I just recreated the problem clipping as listed above and print export worked. I believe to this point in time I've experienced 12 or more crashes playing with this particular clipping.

I managed to reproduce your crash but even quicker than you!

    1. Created small Clippings file from NAC.
    2. I just opened Print/Export – it spun the pizza, crashed and burned. It wasn't pretty.

Screenshot from just before I clicked Print/Export.

Hope you developer guys can figure something out from them.

"Curiouser and curiouser!" (as Alice said).

    1. Tried again with an existing clippings file which I successfully exported this morning.
    2. I exported it as an RTF file.
    3. No problem.

The only difference was the number of pages. My original Test clipping was only a single page, whereas this mornings was 5 pages. [^o)]

    Alan,

    very strange indeed!

I deleted my problem clipping, and now I'm unable to get any clipping to crash the program when exporting as yet.???? [*-)]

Hope there will be an answer.

    All the best,

    Lauren

    1. (...)
    2. I just opened Print/Export – it spun the pizza, crashed and burned. It wasn't pretty.

The same thing just happened to me, but with a note file instead of Clippings. Had one open; opened Print/Export; the wheel thing in the middle section spun a second or two, and then it crashed so fast I never even saw it happening. One second Logos was there, and a split second later it was just gone! Happened three times in a row, but now that I intended to test it further, I suddenly can't reproduce it anymore. Weird!

In any case no Logos crash log was created, but here are a couple of Apple ones, hope they help:
