Also know that there is the "Collegeville Catholic Reference Library", which has the Rule of Benedict in two English translations (RB1980 and also Kardong's) as well as notes and translation on these rules. There is also the "Early Monastic Rules" which has scads of other stuff. And there are four dictionaries *and* the Collegeville Bible commentary in the product too, all for under $80 (at time of this posting). That's a great deal.

If you're only interested in the Rule of Benedict itself, either RB1980 or Kardong can be unlocked for $19.95 (each), details are on the product page (above link). (Later edit: It appears the unlocks involve more than a $19.95 purchase.)

i contated those folks about the unlock, but had to purchase the cd (75.00) from logos, and then another 20.00 to unlock. a starter pack which had the rule was still over 90.00 for the cd and the unlock. too much money for 50 pages at best.
