Organize commentaries on passage guide

what is the best way to organize you commentaries on the passage guide? I took each collection and rated it by stars, for example I would like my application commentaries to show up first, so I put 5 stars for that collection. I then wanted my exposition commentaries next so I placed 4 stars on that collection. Needless to say when I refreshed my passage guide the order of my commentaries did not change. I know I can go, and redesign my passage guide with separate sections containing different types of commentaries, but I was looking for a different way of doing it.

That's the only way I can think of. I suppose you could prioritize them according to type.

This is the route I've gone - lots of small collections - each collection representing a particular type of information or exegetical approach. I like the sections to be small enough that I rarely leave a section "half-read".

Star ratings do not affect the order in the passage guide, rather you should the prioritize the order in the Preferred resources list in the library window.

I also use several commentary collections (each in its own PG commentaries section) to better see what I have at a glance, like M.J. does.
