the installation of Logos Bible Software 4 did not succeed
The latest update (4.2a?) failed to install. Now every time I open Logos 4 I get an install request "an update is ready to install. Do you want to install in now (recommended)." If I say, "yes", the install begins and then fails with "the installation of Logos Bible Software 4 did not succeed".

Try running the installer from here, make certain Logos and MS Office apps are closed.

Can you try and download and install the update manually from http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/Installer/Logos4Setup.exe
I'm not sure it will work, but it should at least give a better error message.
This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

Thanks guys, but I figured it out. Apparently the update needed a re-boot for some reason. Once I rebooted, it installed just fine.
