It's March 10th already and I haven't heard anything about the annual delight that usually grabs our attention (and dollars ) around this time of year. Have I missed something, or am I just jumping the gun? Or is it cancelled this year?

We'll find out tonight! From www.logosmarchmadness.com:
www.logosmarchmadness.com says that it is in "Maintenance mode" for just over 7 more hours. I talked with Jim-Ray in sales and he said that while he hasn't heard anything that he would be surprised if they didn't because it has been a very successful sale in the past.
My guess? We'll have a lot to talk about tomorrow.
Thanks for the info, Jason!
OH NOOOOO! I feel a strong magnetic pull on the stripe on my card..... [H]

Site's up, but there's not indication of content yet.
Starts on St Patrick's Day.
Awesome! The coupon codes don't expire until April 15th. That ought to give everyone a chance to buy whatever they need. [:P]
just got the email! Empty brackets: WAHOOOOOOOO!!!!!! oh . . . wait. . . empty. Wonder what's gonna be in them? How about an all Max Lucado bracket? Or maybe, The four great streams of Christianity: evangelicalism, christian contemporary music, guidepost readers, and James Dobson?
i don't know where that all came from. Must. go. to. bed.
... maybe, The four great streams of Christianity: evangelicalism, christian contemporary music, guidepost readers, and James Dobson?
LOL! What a perspective!
Thanks so much for asking the question because I was wondering the same thing. It's great to know that the sale will continue, now all I have to do is to stay away from the Apple store so I won't be tempted to upgrade to an iPad 2. This would leave me with a few dollars for the March Madness sale.
Blessings!
Christina
I was around for last March's sale but was not really in the position to buy at the time so I really do not remember what all was offered. In the past, have these mainly been bundles, individual resources or a pretty good mixture? Thanks.
individual resources
I believe they're all individual resources.
Thanks Todd. [:)]
For those interested in how previous years worked... here are links to the 2009 March Madness end results from the internet archive:

Looking forward to this years offerings. [:P]
Hey Everyone,
It has begun............
Here's the link

Not an overly exciting list of books in my NSHO, but I have my eye of a couple.
Thanks Ted. My post has the link embedded in the words "It has begun" but the font and color don't really give that impression.. [:D]
And here's the list ...
7128.MarchMadness2011.xls
I put it together for myself but thought I would share before I did too much.
It uses the Excel data filtering.
I will go through them and put a Y in column E if I already have the resource. These can then be hidden with the filtering.
When a resource loses out, I will put that round number in column F. These can also be hidden when it comes to voting strategy.
I have set it up to work out in $ and £. US users simply change C5 to 1 and then they will be the same.
The 'My Ratings' column allows me to sort by my priorities. I can put things back the way they were sorting through the # column (Column A).
Finally, putting Y in the 'My Buy' column for those I have/will buy will add it to the final tally (using post discount prices)
Hope this help ... I'm off to drool (or maybe not ... don't know yet!)
Just re-read the March madness site and noticed that the discounts where much bigger than I thought!
So here is an updated version ... 7142.MarchMadness2011.xls

Thanks for doing this Martin. Very useful.
On looking through the titles, I find the list a bit disappointing this year. Not much I want or need!
The standout for me is undoubtedly Witherington's commentary on Acts.
The only others of real interest are in the Theology section: Baptism in the New Testament, The Trinity, and God's Indweliing Presence.
A few others fall into the "if it becomes cheap enough" category!
Got to agree there ... I put the sheet together and then went through the titles ... nothing that attracts or that I do not already own ... maybe too long standing around the Logos pre-pubs/community/bargain bins.
Still it is good to know that my pre-pubs will not be squeezed this month.
Sigh...a little disappointed in the title selections; just confessing my selfishness. However, I am thankful for the opportunity from Logos to pick up one of two titles at a discount.
I followed the link and found what looks like a tentative listings of a few dozen books/resources that appear to be this years offering. If that's so, there's not a "good" book in the bunch! Last year they had at least one ICC commentary and a number of quality higher priced books. If this is what will be offered, this years "madness" looks like items picked over on the last day of a going out of business sale at K-Mart.

Yeah...that and Introduction to Biblical Hebrew Syntax (Waltke/O'Connor) are what interest me.
Everything else I either already have or don't want.

I must own too many Logos resources when I can only find one title that interests me that I do not already own. However, I believe the March Newswire offer for Shaffer matches a previous March Madness champion. I passed then, but ordered today.
If it is higher than the previous March Madness price, please don't burst my bubble. Let me live in my fantasy world. [:D]
Todd - yes, I too am hoping the Syntax book makes it a few rounds.
