I think I own the 3 volume collection of Bunyan, but they're showing up as 61 individual books. Is there a way to consolidate them into just the 3 volumes that they're supposed to be in, so I can read them and view them as 3 volumes rather than 61?
Umm.... That would reduce my library count by 58 volumes..................................[:(]
Would you benefit by having them in three instead of the 61? You know Bunyan did not publish everything in three.
Sorry, Derek, they were published as individual resources and there is no way to combine resources in Logos. Logos might have chosen to list these on their web site differently than they did, but they do add:
"While the print edition combines 61 titles into 3 volumes, the Logos Bible Software version splits most of the titles into individual resources in your digital library."
Alright - thanks all.
I was hoping to read through them at some point and thought it'd be slightly easier and more organized to read through them volumes at a time.
Can you set up a reading plan for multiple volumes or an entire collection?
No you can't. Single resources only.
Looking at http://www.logos.com/product/7866/works-of-john-bunyan noted:
"While the print edition combines 61 titles into 3 volumes, the Logos Bible Software version splits most of the titles into individual resources in your digital library. Now, you can add 61 classic titles from John Bunyan to your Logos Bible Software digital library at a tremendous discount!"
Option: create a Bunyan collection (e.g. Author:Bunyan).
No (tried, sigh) - could use ratings: 2 stars (for unread); change rating up or down after reading.
Keep Smiling [:)]
OK - Possibly the final question...for tonight. :-)
How do you quote other people in the post when you make a post reply?
I see specific parts of my post has been quoted, but I've never been able to figure out how to do that with others.
You click the "reply" button on the top right of the post you want to reply to.Then you highlight the portion of text you want to quote using left mouse click & drag (just like you do in your browser or Notepad.)With the text highlighted, you then quick "quote" on the lower left ot the post you are responding to.This moves the highlighted text into your editing window. You can type your comments before or after the quoted text.Have fun!
[:-*] secret: If you tinker with it just right, the forum software will make it look like someone you are quoting said the words you are posting. It can get funny if you are debating with them. [6]
Just Testing this out - Let's see.

AH - I see...
Thanks so much!
