BUG: Bible Search - defining a custom range

I tried to define a custom range...e.g. Range = Matt-John and Title = Gospels. When I SAVE, nothing happens. If I don't give it a title, it allows me to Save and inputs the title to be the same thing as the range (e.g. Range = Matt-John, Title = Matt-John. Also there is no way to delete a range. While working with this, I accidentally created 2 ranges that are the same and I am not able to delete the duplicate.

Hi Ellie,

I'm seeing the same thing with the range title. I found that it would save the range as "Matthew-John" rather than "Gospels." The "Matthew-John" range was added to the range drop-down list under "All Passages." I haven't been able to create duplicate ranges, though, and I'm able to click the X to the right of a custom range to delete it.

I'll report these issues with the Search panel's custom range function to development.

My findings:

1) It seems to work in Morph search, I only have trouble in Bible search.

2) I don't have trouble saving with a title, it's just that it gets the same title as the last saved range (with a (2) after). (Looks kind of funny with "Johannine Writings (2) (Matthew-John)"...)

3) Clicking Save with the cursor still in the title box always gave the result in 2).

4) Clicking Save after moving the cursor back to the range box worked fine most of the time, but crashed the program once.

5) No problem deleting.

6) Could you please change so that search ranges are sorted canonically, not alphabetically. Much easier to see what search ranges you already have with a particular book included in them.

So there are two work arounds for now: either make sure to have the cursor in the upper box when you save, or create the ranges in Morph.
