Read Aloud won't change speeds

For some reason, Logos will not read any faster than the "Normal" speed in the Text to Speech settings. It doesn't seem to recognize the change of speed in the settings, but does recognize a change of voice...
Does anyone else have this problem or know whether this is a bug or something that I'm doing correctly?
