Rebuild Index going on sixth day

How long should the rebuild index take? I typed "Rebuild index" in the command bar and logos says at top "First time indexing underway" It has said that for the last six days. I turned off auto updates and set power settings so the computer would not go to sleep. I do not have the logos symbol in my tray at the bottom right.
I have a Sony Vaio with Windows 7 Home Premium 3 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, Intel Core\i3-330M processor.

Shut down L4, restart and post some logs ie. logos4.log, logos4indexer.log, as per http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging (note the link about uploading the logs). I suspect it may be an issue due to be fixed by the next Service Release, but the logs will tell the story.

It should be much quicker than that. My netbook takes about 24 hours and my desktop takes 3-4 hours for my Platinum library. How much does it say it has left?

You realize that it took God 6 days + 1 to create the world. Do you expect Logos to do better. [;)]

Robert,
The log says that Bible indexing started at 20:01 today, and at 20:06 was 21% of the way through. The logs give every indication that if the indexing continues for another hour or so, the indexing will complete as normal.
If that's not the case, can you email an updated log at that point?

Thanks Mark.
See below, I have posted the file and the file named Logos4indexercrash.

After the crash, indexing re-started (possibly you chose 're-start application'?). Unfortunately that means that the log file was over-written and doesn't refer to the crash. Although the crash.txt tells us what the crash was, it doesn't tell us what resource caused the crash (we'd need the full log for that). However, it's likely to have be caused by a corrupted reverse-interlinear download.
This wiki page post helps generally with these issues: http://wiki.logos.com/Bug$3a_Indexer_%E2%80%93_No_translation_word
If you follow the steps there, and if that doesn't work, upload the logs here again, making sure you don't re-start the indexer after the crash.

Quick question, how do I prevent the indexer from starting when I restart Logos. It does it automatically.

You can't. Every time you start Logos the indexer will run to check if extra-indexing is required. Normally it only runs for a couple of seconds, decides that no indexing is required, then quits.
In your case, make sure permanent logging is turned on (see the links provided earlier), then when you start Logos, indexing will start, then at some point crash. At that point, just send all the logs you have, without restarting either Logos or the indexer.

Followed all steps but it would not let me delete resourcemanager.db as indexer is running. I'll see if indexer finishes then try to delete it.
thanks so much for the help and patience.
