Friday! Butler's Lives of the Saints!

I am so psyched for this to come out, I hope it does not slip to next week!

Butler's Lives of the Saints is the full 12 volume set. I have the 4 volume abridged version in print. This is such an excellent resource, check it out before it's too late, this is THE resource for a compilation of most of what we know about hundreds, thousands? of saints over the last 200 years! I have found information in there that is not available anywhere else. Anchor Dictionary regularly quotes Butler's line by line. It's an excellent addition!

I was tempted, but it isn't in my field and buying it would likely mean having to forgo something I wanted that is in my field. Besides, since it isn't something that would be heaviily linked to other resources, I can read it on Bartleby's.

Yes, quite true... though I was surprised at the amount of linking in the footnotes. It struck me as a particularly well-researched book, considering the subject has a tendency to be under-researched.

I would like to inquire if you would explain to me HOW TO INSTALL BUTLER'S LIVES OF SAINTS THAT IS ON A CD.. It was put out by Harmony Media Inc. I've been there several times on the web to find out , one time a page showed it and I lost that page how to install this cd. I lost it afterwards this website. May be it was here? My mom has the Butler's lives of Saints 2 volumes. Sometimes she wants me to print out a copy of some saint. When I install it on my PC Microsoft 8 iT COMES UP WITH THE FILES AND INSTALL IS VERY HARD TO DO. I do get the pictures of the Saints but no readable plain text. . It is either in code or need an app.

I have Student Home and Office 2013 installed and with windows Microsoft University 365 not installed -make arrangements to have it installed.

This is not a Logos/Libronix product. I am not aware of any upgrade program from Harmony Media to Logos, this type of thing occasionally happens when a company is acquired by another or the publisher oks it. Since this is a copyright free item, I fear you likely have no chance of getting it into Logos beyond purchasing it. You could inquire to Logos customer service but I don't think you will get a different response.
