The Logos 4 Beta Program home page (http://wiki.logos.com/The_Logos_4_Beta_Program) was updated today to accommodate the next beta version (labeled "Logos 4.?"), including a link to what will apparently be the release notes page for 4.3 Beta 1 (which is yet empty). Can't be long now, can it?
We can sure hope for a Friday beta release with us all finding immediate crashing bugs that can't be fixed over the weekend [:D].
But more seriously, those edits were made by Keep Smiling for Jesus who is not a Logos employee so, unless he's being tipped off by a developer he's probably wishful for the new beta like the rest of us.
The official place to look will be here: http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Beta_Release_Notes
It's been an awfully long time since we've had a new beta, and I'm definitely getting itchy for one.

Like forum threads http://community.logos.com/forums/t/31065.aspx and http://community.logos.com/forums/t/30830.aspx, hoping for next Beta cycle soon; used "Logos 4.?" since did not know official numbering for next release.
For wiki page, found a command to add:

Since Logos combined release notes for Mac & PC in 4.2a beta cycle, thought time had come to simplify Wiki page (no longer need release information from an older beta cycle). Anticipate Logos development continuing combined release notes for Mac & PC, with PC beta releases typically on Tuesdays and Mac beta releases soon after (from same day to couple days later). Also, noticed from "Logos 4.2a Beta 5" onward, stable and beta channel releases have been identical for Mac & PC, so combined stable and beta channel example.
Looking back at several previous beta cycles, noticed pattern of 4 weeks was typical. If history repeats, next beta release would be Tue 22 Mar.
Keep Smiling [:)]
However, there is some unnecessary comment:
"Note: beginning with version 4.2a, PC and Mac release notes combined – Logos 4 Mac nearing feature parity with PC – notably missing Handouts (future revamp planned) along with Print/Export for: Copy Bible Verses, Home, Layouts, and Library. Also, PC Home Page customization has drag and drop option to change order of display (can sync to Mac via Logos servers). Likewise PC Passage List has drag and drop option to change verse order plus compact view to show verse references without text. PC notes have more capabilities than Mac, including automatic hyperlinking of scripture in notes. PC has more font size options: Program Scaling (removed from Mac due to display issues) plus font slider adjustment in Bible Word Study (BWS), Collections, Exegetical Guide, Passage Guide, Passage List, Reading Plan, Search, and Text Comparison."
The bulk of the Note might be used elsewhere but does not belong in this wiki page.
Thanks - removed unnecessary comment and added "See Also" links Logos 4 Mac - Feature parity notes
"Are you hoping they will throw you a pbbbone. ?"
Yes, and I'm pretty sure there will be some PBB action in this next beta, as they've hinted that it's coming along soon: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/30563.aspx
I hope you are right, Rosie. When I saw the updated MIssing Features page, I convinced myself there would be one more beta before PBB's. Logos, please prove me wrong.
If they have a whole 'nother beta cycle before we see PBB, there's no way it's going to be shipping in 2nd quarter 2011.
You know what - either they changed the page again or I misremembered. Their 2012 (lists) I'd remembered as 1st quarter 2011[:$]
Hi MJ,
Yes, it was updated - http://community.logos.com/forums/p/31065/230370.aspx#230370

Besides, the page lists the last update: Last Updated: 3/15/2011
This thread is way too MVP heavy. I'm posting just to add some little people action.
MVP's are just little people with no life, so we spend time pretending to have one on the forums.[8-|]

I couldn't comment...
Contain your excitement, the delelopers have run off in terror at the thought of you wanting a beta 1 on a Friday.. becareful what you wish for.. [:P] it may just happen.. or not..
Dear Logos,
We know you read these threads.
We know you smile in knowledge of when the Beta will be released.
We know you are satisfied to leave us wallowing in our own impatience and ignorance.
We know you enjoy this little game.
I hope you find enjoyment in all this.
Our Missions Conference startsI still want beta But there is no time to play
This thread is way too MVP heavy. I
That is why I have not added my whine. Where is my beta? [:'(]
Yeah, it's not a coincidence, since most of the first batch of MVPs were chosen from among the early beta testers who had had the most experience with Logos thus far. We all got addicted to beta cycles and cannot settle down with a stable version for very long. [:)]
Gimme some new features to bash on! Now!!!

Likewise became addicted to these forums and Logos with Logos 4 Mac Alpha pre-releases along with being Thankful for Logos 4 feature exposure on Mac. Typically every couple weeks had new presents (features) to open, try out, and use. Usually, existing features kept working.

Maybe we need another topic to take our minds off pending Betas. hummm
I know, lets restart the "we want newsgroups debate."
Perhaps do some Resource Reviews =>http://community.logos.com/forums/t/31143.aspx while waiting for next Beta ?
Added Wiki placeholder links to Resource Review page for UBS NT and OT Handbook series along with Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament - plan to create Wiki pages this weekend. Already have two UBS examples open in Logos 4 (and some forum review links to copy).
Yes, good idea. But oh my! Yet another thing we can do to procrastinate...as if I needed more. [:)]
