Some awkward placement et al... ugh

Just some thoughts:

the x to close the resource window tabs should be on the tab like in a browser. Otherwise, you have to move your cursor back and forth to position and close tabs. It's not intuitive and not efficient.

Also, the method for positioning your layout is painful. I finally added a shortcut to the maximize layout to my toolbar. This gave me a maximize button that helped. However, I 100% preferred previous iterations of Logos's layout scheme in this regard. It was easier. Just normal windows that we are used to already. We don't have to reinvent the wheel here. Just IMO.

The back button and forward button would be better IMO closer to the rest of the buttons on the resource toolbar. For example, if you have a window open fullscreen, I don't like having to go all the way over "there" to hit back. I would prefer it where everything else is. At least, you could allow the buttons to be moved around so we could decide.

Logos 4 has great potential, and it's already a great piece of software. These things IMO detract a little, but they can easily be fixed. Thanks Logos for all your hard work.

at first blush, I like this idea.  then I started thinking about some of my panes being so filled that the tabs are tiny and could cause a problem if the "x" filled up most of the tab and I just wanted to move a tab, not "x" it out.  Have you tried the right click on it?  many wonderful options.  also, if you have a mouse/wheel, clicking on the wheel will close that tab.  No moving "over there" necessary.  [:)]

    I like Apples.  Especially Honeycrisp.

Here I agree with you - that is why most of my layouts use multiple floating windows. One of the great things about Logos is the degree of flexibility it gives you regarding how you work - that huge bar across the top is, I agree, a pain and should be relegated to an 'Inspector' type window.

Dan has covered the X adequately.
