I am often finding myself having to delete duplicate reading plans and prayer lists. Regularly I open Logos and find that my prayer list or reading plan now has a (2) after it. There apparently was a conflict between syncing my machines.
It seems to me that it shouldn't be too hard to write better syncing algorithms, especially for reading plans and prayer lists. If a reading or prayer is marked complete anywhere, it is ok to propagate that across all machines, even if there is an apparent conflict.
The current algorithm or creating a duplicate prayer list or reading plan serves nobody as far as I can tell. It only creates more work for the user who knows how to delete the duplicate, and it creates more confusion for the noob
