Whenever I hover over the Hebrew words, information is brought up along the bottom (Logos 4 Mac, 4) of my interface, but there is not a suggested english word unless I ask "Information" to look it up.
Is that not an available option (to have a suggested english word appear with the parsing of the hebrew word)?
thank you

Jason,
This depends on the specific resource one's using. Could you give us some insight on which resource you're referring to?

Hey!
I'm using HALOT as my lexicon. Any thoughts? Maybe I could prioritize CHALOT instead?

Two Logos Hebrew Bibles have English word tagging:
- Lexham Hebrew-English Interlinear Bible (LHI) has inline display options (Lexical Value and English Literal Translation).
- The Hebrew Bible: Anderson-Forbes Analyzed Text (AFAT) includes English word(s) with Hebrew word parsing.
In AFAT, can right click to show more tagging (e.g. Genre, Semantic Domain, Eissfeldt: Hexateuch, Mowinkel: Jeremiah). Wiki page has examples => http://wiki.logos.com/Extended_Tips_for_Highlighting_and_Visual_Filters
Caution: Hebrew is not English. Some words have a direct correspondence between languages (e.g. person's name) while other words have different range of meaning, can use Bible Word Study to visually see one Hebrew lemma (e.g. paqad) translated by many English words (or Greek words in Septuagint), depending on contextual usage:

Outstanding -- those two sources will be much help.
I do understand the range in meanings for words, and really do appreciate the great (and detailed) response!
Countless blessings!
