Reason resources not available on iPad/iPhone
I'd sure like to know what prevents resources available on the iPad/iPhone.
Do publishers refuse to cooperate because they want additional financial renumeration?
Is there a contract Logos requires that publishers are uncomfortable with?
Do the publishers just not care, are unresponsive (won't say why), or feel there is enough interest?
Is there some sort of non-financial investment required publishers, such as reformatting/etc?
Do publishers fear loss of print sales because users are more comfortable enough using the iPad that they are more frequently willing to forego owning print AND electronic versions (I certainly am more will ing to do that - I do not like using a PC or laptop for reading extensively and thereby own many items both in print and Logos//Desktop versions)?
Can other poster add more possible reasons to my list?
Will someone from Logos offer us some insight?
While I am perfectly willing to keep bombaring publishers with requests for their resources to be available on the mobile platform, I feel all of us could be more productive in those efforts if we knew the WHY behind it all.
