Can't resize windows

Hi, I searched the forum but didn't see a response.

I can't seem to resize the way these two windows are positioned at all. I'm hovering on all elements between the left scroll bar of the left window and the left edge of the right window, and I can't get a the mouse to change to the resize icon. I even tried click-dragging anyway, and no luck.

Any guesses as to what's going on here? Thanks!

Did you try dragging by clicking on the title bar?

Some of the tools (Highlighting, Text comparison, etc.) open in a non-resizable pane. What you have to do is click and hold the tab and move it, then you will be able to resize the pane like everything else.

I believe this behavior is on purpose... can't remember why though.
