I would like to see what's "trending" over the past 24-48 hours. What have people been bidding on in CP, what pre-pubs have people been ordering? Not that I'm generally a follower of crowds, but it would still be a possible good way of encouraging more people to bid on things that others are in the midst of trying to push. In case they'd missed the forum thread(s) where those items were being talked up.
EDIT: I could see it working as kind of a live twitter-like feed: Every few seconds it would refresh with new stuff: "Someone just bought XXX." "Someone just bid $YY on ZZZZ in Community Pricing." With links to the product description pages. It would be cool to watch, if nothing else.
