Copying ESV

Now that we can copy and paste is there an easy way to copy a verse from the ESV without the cross reference and textual comment annotations? I'm guessing I'm missing something obvious.

Can you explain where you are trying to copy and paste to? I can copy and paste a verse from my ESV into a text, facebook status, note, without any annotations.

Are you running the most recent version? I do not get any of the annotations footnotes, just verse numbers when I copy out of the iPad app.
