Roland McCune Systematic Theology Pre-Pub - No iPad/iPhone version?

I got the RSS notification of the newest Logos PrePub today, Roland McCune's 3 volume A Systematic Theology of Biblical Christianity today,

Why ? Because there is no iPad/iPhone icon for it, which I assume means it is not at this time been approved by the publisher for mobile distribution. I would really like this, and the PrePub price is a good one, but I will never "Read" it on my PC or laptop, so I'll probably pass on it.

I would think that by this time Logos would serve its user better to decline any publications that will not agree to have the volume(s) made available to mobile-applications. How do other users feel about that idea? Will the publishers get the message if we who want them on mobile applications virtually boycott new product that is desktop-only?

I am not in favour of this idea at all.

While having resources available on multiple platforms is of great value (I am one of those waiting for an Android app) I would not want a resource to not be made available within the laptop / desktop version if it were not possible to make it multi-platform.

I read many resources on my laptop and value the richness of the full Logos application in doing so.

I, too, think this would be a desaster for all Logos users with a more academic approach. While it is surely great to have resources on iPhone/iPad, the concept behind it is very different from the PC/Mac version. Ever tried to make serious and advanced exegetical studies on an iPhone? Not possible. So, removing resources just because the publishers won't allow to make them multiplatform (and in many cases it wouldn't make much sense to prepare them for mobile usage) would be a punishment for PC/Mac users.

Apart from that, you can ask Customer Support whether this resource is only supposed for PC/Mac or if this is a mistake - there have been resources lately where the website indicated they were not for iPhone/iPad while they actually were.

There are enough publishers that I would like to see on my desktop but the publishers are hesitant to support electronic versions. I would hate to further limit it by those suspicious of multi-platform access ... and while I don't have and i-pad or tablet to test it I suspect a bit of ingenuity would get m around any problem (I'm thinking of logging into my desltop).
