Copy/Paste seems crude?

I am very glad for the copy/paste function, but so far it seems quite crude. Or maybe I am missing something?
Is it possible to copy without misc. markings (like "bible text only" in the full version)? And is there a way for verse citations to be copies along with the verses?
For example, here's what came when I copied and pasted 2 Sam. 10:6-7 from the ESV into an email (note the extra letters throughout):
6 When the Ammonites saw that they had become a stench to David, theAmmonites sent and hired the Syrians of vBeth-rehob, and wthe Syrians of
Zobah, 20,000 foot soldiers, and the king of xMaacah with 1,000 men, and the
men of yTob, 12,000 men. 7 And when David heard of it, he sent Joab and all the
host of zthe mighty men.

These are the footnotes, etc. I am sure you know that, but just being clear.
I don't believe what you are asking for is present. But then again, it is only with a recent update that we have copy/paste. So moving forward maybe it is possible.
