Should we give up on Vocabulary/Word Lists?

So I suppose this counts as complaining, but I'm frustrated by how the Vocabulary List feature keeps getting pushed back- the Missing Feature list now shows it for Q1 2012! Back in 2009 when people asked about it, it was (Q2 2010)... Then 2010 came, and it was slated for 2011... Now it's 2012. Looks like the Book Builder feature might be coming soon, but then, who knows?
I'm one of those people who doesn't have Logos 3, so that's not an option for me. Don't get me wrong- I love Logos 4, but several of the features people had told me about (apparently they must have been Logos 3 users) and which helped convince me to get the product are not in Logos 4. When I bought it, I thought, "oh, these features are right around the corner." Clearly, they are not. I can't help but think it is just not a priority for them. Obviously it doesn't take years of development to get what should be a fairly basic feature working; I can only assume that it is being pushed back because they just aren't working on it.
What is so frustrating is that I really like Logos 4, and I think it is the best Bible Software on the market. But then things like this occasionally make me wish I had just put up with the unpleasant interface and lack of resources in BibleWorks.
Logos has made a good effort to be amongst the best Hebrew/Greek tools, but it is still not there yet...

You shouldn't give up, but it is disappointing.

That is actually an option for you since you can still download L3 from Logos -- I know since I just did when I got a new computer. I believe you would qualify as a new user since you apparently don't have L3 on your computer now. http://www.logos.com/support/downloads/ldls

Option: Libronix 3 is free and can peacefully coexist with Logos 4 on Windows (along with many Logos 4 resources being available for Libronix 3) so can use old PBB's and sentence diagrams. Thankful Logos orders page has "Downloadable Libronix Files" section whose orders often have Libronix update scripts (and new installation procedure for Libronix 3.0g worked on Windows 7).
With Logos 4 Morph Search providing an option for vocabulary lists => How can a create a vocabulary list by frequence of a new testament book? , can appreciate strategy of implementing other features first; looking forward to Logos 4 new features not yet announced.
Also understand frustration and disappointment about Logos 4 Vocabulary/Word Lists. Likewise another group of Logos users wonders when Android application will be ready for public use. Personally remember excitement about initial announcement of Libronix port to Mac, followed years later by tantalizing screen shot, which was followed by many months before delivery that lacked many Libronix 3 features. Thankful for Logos progress and improvements; looking forward to future releases (both software and resources).

If people miss Vocabulary Lists, check out this 15 minute video by Michael Hite. Other than printing or saving a Vocab List (you can save in your Favorites but it regenerates your list each time), I think this approach looks more powerful than Logos 3.

George is right, using L3 is very much an option for you until L4 gets the features that sold you on Logos in the first place. L3 takes a little bit of work to get everything working there are scripts to run etc. If you decide to install L3 we'll be happy to help you through any bumps along the way.

In the latest beta for mac I noticed a Lemma right click option called "Add to Word List"... totally non-functional at this point, but does anyone know what this is?

Using Logos 4.5c Beta 2 on Windows, learned that clicking "Add to Word List" crashes program so posted => Crash: 4.5c Beta 2 - Add Lemma to Word List
Looking forward to improvements in Logos 4.5c beta cycle.

Out of curiosity and a desire to have another Biblical tool (One can never have too many tools [8-|] ) I downloaded Libronix DLS at the above link. It says nothing about Logos 3, only Libronix DLS. I have a couple of questions.
Should I use my L4 email or a different one? Will it make a difference?
How do I get my Scholars/Biblical Languages edition loaded from L4 (if it is even possible)?
What scripts do I need to run?
I am fairly computer savvy and I have a bunch of Libronix products in my Logos account list that are not showing up in the LDLS. Any help would be appreciated.

Forum Logos 3/Libronix tends to focus on Libronix DLS issues.
Logos support has Libronix articles => http://www.logos.com/support/windows/L3/L3_Support that includes installation and IE 9 patching.

For resource license synchronization, using the same Logos.com account (email) in Libronix 3.0g and Logos 4 is prudent.

Wiki has => Re-install resources for Libronix 3 that has links for many Libronix 3 update scripts.
