Touch scrolling for tablet PCs

I'm running Logos4 on my Asus Slate Windows7 64 bit. Touch scrolling does not work, although touching to select I or using the stylus to hold down the scrollbar arrow is functional. I say" functional", because although it does work, it is hard to view the Screen, done must be very precise in placing the stylus to be able to control the scrolling. With the growth of touch screen technology, I would presume the ability to touch scroll would be important to other users as well. Is this something you're working on for the full Windows version of Logos 4?

Yes, I do that all the time. I usually have a virtual keyboard open at the bottom of the screen though--I find the hotkeys by far the fastest way to select a specific highlight to apply. I just wish I could expand beyond the single letters so I could have more highlighters hotkeyed.

And how is pen used for marking text? Only draging pen over text or there is necessary to mark somehow starting point of selection?

Pavel, I use a W7 tablet. And yes, you highlight by simply dragging the pen over the text (to identify the text). Then you can click on the highlighting panel, or do a hold/click to get the right-click panel for text lookup/search or copying/printing. Works great.

On my W7 tablet, the pen button now also allows using it to scroll the window as well without trying to click on the scroll bar. That's a BIG improvement for working in Logos4.

I am cosidering to buy Microsoft Surface (Win 8) tablet next year (mainly for LOGOS). I am planing to use tablet as secondary device mainly for reading with higlighting and daily greek studying.

Absence of keyboard should make tablet better for using "in chair" or outside home....
