From Libronix to Logos4 for iMac. iPad question also.

Just loaded Logos4 for Mac. I now have both the old Libronix program (which I never liked) and the new Logos 4 program. I am not a power user by any stretch of the imagination. I just do personal study and prepare the occasional sunday school lesson. I just got an iPad and loaded the Logos app for it. I have a couple questions.

1. Can I delete my old Libronix program on my iMac without loosing any books or licenses or should I just leave it alone?

2. I seem to have all my books in the new Logos4 library. How can I get some, all, or any of them into my iPad to read and study when I travel? After loading the app and syncing only a couple showed up in my iPad library.

I have an iMac and an iPad2 if it matters.

Thanks in advance

Brett

    Welcome [:D]

Wiki Logos 4 Mac page has Mini FAQ section that includes "How to remove Old Version of Logos for Mac v.1?"

    2. I seem to have all my books in the new Logos4 library. How can I get some, all, or any of them into my iPad to read and study when I travel?

Logos has an iPhone video => http://www.logos.com/video/2443/offline-reading-mode-logos-iphone-app that works on iPad too (with network connection, suggest downloading one resource at a time for offline use).

Brett, welcome. I am not a Mac user, but can tell you that you do not need to keep Libronix if you don't want to. As long as you synched your Libronix licenses over the Internet, Logos should download all your resources to L4. (A few have changed forms in L4 so your resource count won't exactly match between the two.)

Logos left us the option of running either program, but most all the features in Libronix are now in L4 so most users have deleted Libronix (if they ever had it).

I don't have an iPad but know that not all resources are able to be downloaded to the iPad. Licensing issue with the original publishers for the most part.

It will probably help others to let us know what basic package of resources you have. Did you upgrade to a Logos 4 package or do the minimal crossgrade?

If no one here answers your iPad question, ask it again on the iPhone/iPad forum here.

Thank you smiling, problem with my iPad is that most of the books in my library (on my mac) do not show up in my iPad library.
