Search term reverts to previous term

Every once in a while, when doing a Bible search (I rarely do others so I don't know if it's limited or not), when I type a new search parameter into the box, after I press <Enter> it disappears and the last search terms comes back. Sometimes it will work if I pick the word that shows up in the dropdown that appears, and sometimes that doesn't work either. It seems like this is a bug, but maybe I'm doing something wrong? I am on 4.2a SR-5 (4.21.5.0959).

Concur seems like a bug; could edit post title to add BUG: prefix.

Edit: wiki has http://wiki.logos.com/Using_the_Forum page with usage tips.

Also have experienced similar revert to previous selection in Text Comparison tool on Mac & PC (especially after trying to add another version to compare).

I can also confirm this bug. Took me a minute to figure out how to get out of it.

    Hi

This has been seen - and flagged - before but I don't believe it has been completely resolved.

See http://community.logos.com/forums/t/21698.aspx and http://community.logos.com/forums/t/21479.aspx for example threads.

I believe this issue has been referenced in other threads as well but can't find them at the moment.

The first thing to do when this happens, is to make sure you weren't entering something 'impossible'. E g, I tend to instinctively enter Swedish Bible book abbreviations in the reference box when I'm in my Swedish Bible. With half of the books, that works fine; with the other half, not so much... I get the same result you describe.

That said, there are plenty of occasions when there is no rational reason for this behaviour, and it happens in many places, and in several different ways (i e, it's not always the last term that turns up). I have a thread about it happening in TC here, and in BWS here
