I have both my desktopo and notebook open to Logos. Appproximately one hour ago I attempted to search all English Bibles for Genesis 1:1-2. The programs in both compupterps return 0 results for every Bible search?

I attempted to search all English Bibles for Genesis 1:1-2

Was your search text or bible?

    Did you search all text?

Did you try <Gen 1:1-2> in a text search?

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Gary, I'm guessing this is what you're trying to do and what you're seeing:

That is to be expected. The problem is that "Genesis 1:1-2" (or rather the AND of its constituent non-punctuation parts) doesn't appear as text in any of your English Bibles. It's the address for the location of the first two verses in each of them, but it isn't in the text itself.

I'm assuming what you want to do is see Genesis 1:1-2 as it is translated in all of your English Bibles. Here's how to do that, using the Text Comparison tool:
