Maybe I could do smarter searches or know what entries to suggest for the LCV if I could I could see what is in the LCV. How do I display the thing?
You can't, I'm afraid. The online topics list will give you some (perhaps all), though there's some none LCV-topics in there as well. Ones by admin are normally LCV related:

It's an interesting question. I'm going to try see if I can persuade the website to give a definitive list.

Done: http://topics.logos.com/Logos_Controlled_Vocabulary
Very nice, but note that this also includes user-contributed pages that have copied or invented their own LCV tags (that aren't part of the "official" Logos LCV), e.g., http://topics.logos.com/Science_and_Health_with_Key_to_the_Scriptures. A search within Logos 4 won't return information from these pages because the search uses a local copy of the Logos LCV; it doesn't query topics.logos.com for the latest LCV IDs.
So is there a way to filter out the user contributed items from http://topics.logos.com/Logos_Controlled_Vocabulary?
I have developed my own CV for tagging resources. What I am attempting to do is 1. improve my list, and 2. Be wiser in selecting search terms. Actually #2 is really more important at the moment then #1.
Could any of you explain what is a Logos Controlled Vocabulary. I am what is its function, where it is located (or operates) in Logos 4? I have never heard of that. Sorry for my ignorance.
Hi Nielsen. LCV is a database of terms and their synonyms which Logos uses for when a user does a search. If you've ever seen the Topics section that sometimes shows up at the top of Search results (you might need to click on it to expand it as it's sometimes collapsed), this is a sign that Logos is using LCV "under the hood" to find all these references in all your dictionaries and encyclopedias:
I don't think it's necessary to know what is in LCV in order to benefit from it. Just trust that it was designed with your best interests in mind. If you do a search for a term that you think ought to be in it, but no Topics section shows up, then you could report it to Logos and ask for it to be added. They've come up with the list of all the terms by scouring the entries in all the major dictionaries. If you look for a term that ends up showing no Topics section, it might be because it doesn't appear in any of the dictionaries, and so there would be no point to having it in LCV.
So is there a way to filter out the user contributed items
You want to filter out my work?[A] There are ways that would come close but I can't think of a completely accurate method. You should also recognize that the LCV is a work in progress that has some very specific holes in it. For example, if the Bible study related terms from the Jewish Encyclopedia were added it would be a substantial chunk.
I'd suggest that you go to topics.logos.com in your browser and browse the list to see how closely it meets your needs. If you find it useful, then ask me how to identify the Logos entries.
Yes, that's true, but there's only a few of these. If you're every unsure whether something is genuinely part of the LCV, just view its history. If the page was initially created by Admin at the end of July 2009, then it's definately genuine.
Hi Rosie,
Thank you very much for your explanation. Thank you for putting it very clear.
Blessings,
