audio greek download trouble

I purchased the audio greek NT this morning and restarted L4 to get the download. The 4.3 beta3 update began as well. That started a day long mess of trying to get all the updates completed.

I now seem to have everything, as the 'update now' turns up no new updates available. L4 finished indexing.

However the problem is I have no greek audio. When I select 'read aloud' from the NA27 resource menu, it only reads the chapter numbers - acting as though I do not have the greek audio resource.

There have been resource download issues in the beta that developers are working to resolve, so it is possible that the necessary file was not installed yet. I'm testing this in the 4.3 Beta on my Mac and will update this thread when I have more information.

Update:  What is happening on my system is that it starts to download the ELNT.lbxaud file for the Greek Audio NT and then the operation times out. This is the known issue I mentioned above.  My guess is that is what is happening on your Mac as well. We hope to have a fix ready for the next beta.

Is this issue considered resolved now in 4.3b11? I have not seen anything in the 'known issues' section of the release notes for several beta releases.

The 'read aloud' function still does not work in any of my Greek NT's, so I am assuming the resource has not yet downloaded fully / properly. Is there a way to get rid of whatever incomplete files I may have and start this resource new again?

Downloads should be working correctly now, but it may be that we need to have it download the complete audio file again. Close Logos 4 and check for the file in a couple of places, and if you find it, delete it.

First look for the file, ELNT.lbxaud, in your user/home directory under /Library/Application Support/Logos4/data/uniqueID.xxx/ResourceManager/Resources. Also in the Logos4 folder look under /data/uniqueID.xxx/UpdateManager/Resources. If you find the file in either place, delete it. Then restart Logos 4 and see if it tries to download the file after the program has been opened a few seconds.

file, ELNT.lbxaud was not found in either location but rather in ResourceManager/Downloaded/AUD/ELNT. I deleted the file from this location, restarted Logos 4 and nothing happened. I tried the manual command: "update resources" and Logos 4 found no updates.

Thank you. I've asked one of our technicians to contact you to work with you directly on this problem, since I don't believe it is associated with the beta.

Problem solved! I talked to tech-support yesterday; the complete file downloaded and is now working fine.

    Thanks.
