Hi there,

I have just bought a copy of Logos 4. I also have a copy of Libronix on my machine too with lots of Tynsdale Commentaries on it. Is there a way I can shift these commentaries from Libronix across to Logos 4. I have never owned Logos before so have had not previous versions.

Josh

Hi Josh, welcome to the Logos forums!

Open Libronix, and run Tools > Library Management > Synchronize Licenses.

Then start Logos 4, and the Tyndale commentaries should download for you. You might have to wait a minute or so for it to recognize that there are resources to be downloaded, but you should get a popup message in the lower right of your screen telling you there are, and it will instruct you to click on it, and that will begin the download. Once the files are downloaded, the Logos notification icon down there will tell you to click (or maybe it's right-click?) on it to restart Logos so that the newly downloaded resources will be installed. Then you should be good to go.

    Josh,

just an add-on to Rosie's helpful tips: the Logos licence database recognizes all the products you own, whether in Libronix or Logos 4. Thus you will be able to use (most of) the Logos 4 resources in Libronix and the Libronix resources in Logos 4. This requires that you use the same email-address for both programs to identify you against the licence database server - otherwise the synchronising of products between the two programs will not work and you'll need to contact customer service to set this right.

Just to clarify, you need the same Logos user ID in Logos4 as you have in Libronix. This is usually the email address you used when you first got a Logos account in Libronix (earlier?). If you changed your email address and made that your Logos4 user ID, you now have two user accounts. If that's the case, you'll need to contact customer service to merge the two accounts so you can have access to all your purchases.
