BUG: "Send Searches Here" icon invisible until magnifying glass clicked

I have a search window open, with "Send Searches Here" selected. However, the red "target" icon (signifying searches sent to this window) does not persist between sessions of L4,l although the associated behaviour (i.e. making the search window in question a search target) DOES persist across sessions.

As soon as I click on the magnifier icon in the top LHS of the search window in question, the red target immediately reappears.

I don't have a problem with the icon disappearing after a restart. How many Search tabs in your Layout?

Restart L4 and upload 2x logos4.log:-

after selecting a search tab as the target; and
after a restart when you click the magnifier icon to make the target icon reappear

A screen shot of your Layout might also be useful.

Doesn't seem to be doing it now, but now the new "windows not appearing" but has taken over (see new post)!

UPDATE: Problem still taking place.

Only one search Tab active.

On clicking the magnifier, the only thing that is added to the log is "MainWindow activated"
