Bug Universalism not university

Hello. Hopefully this is a good place for a bug report. When trying to research evangelical responses to Universalism in JETS I get various non helpful results. University, universal, etc. Evidently Logos 4 (and the Forum website for that matter) does not recognize "Universalism" as a word.

In your search you need to turn off Word Stemming. This is a feature that helps to get broader search results.

1. click the panel menu (icon looks like a magnifying glass in search).

2. Turn off "Match all word forms"

That should do it.

By default, Logos will try to match similar words in a search. The feature is often helpful, giving you a range of related words in a search. But sometimes it can be a nuisance (all of those words matching universalism is certainly quirky). So click the magnifying glass in the upper left corner of the Search panel and uncheck the option Match All Word Forms and you will only get exact matches.

Kind of off-topic question, but does the "Match All Word Forms" option apply to Greek/Hebrew searches? Does it work as a replacement for a Lemma search?

No. Lemmas have to be exact, with marks, so you have to use wildcards.

No need to feel sheepish, Logos has lots of stuff built in that needs time and experience to learn thoroughly. :-)
