Forums on the iPad
I just bought and iPad. I was trying to reply to a post on the forums, but when I try and click in the text box no cursor appears and the keyboard does not pop up. Am I missing something?

yes - the HTML button is the only way to do it right now. I'd love to see the developers make the forums more ipad-friendly, but I haven't seen any indication that this is in the works. Note that simply hitting the HTML button isn't enough. Once you hit this it will open up the editing panel in a new tab. When you click in it, it won't let you type though. It will bring up the keyboard, but then will not accept any characters. Tap and hold in the text-area again, so that the "copy/paste" function comes up, and then you can type whatever you want. It's a pain, but the only way I've found to make it work.

I am trying it for the first time myself. Not especially convenient. Makes helping others using this medium a real ministry :-)

Thank you all for your swift response. My laptop is off to computer hospital for a few days tomorrow, so I will be relying on the iPad.

Yes, sometimes it is faster and easier to write my sermons than it is to simply try and help someone on the forum! I keep praying that something positive will happen and we can just hit reply from our email client and start typing like we can in most other forums.

Thanks for the tip. I found that I had to tap and hold in the HTML source editor to get it to start.
