Importing Old Content

Someone said here that you can import your v3 resources by using some command someplace. Can someone tell me how this is done? Apparently my help files are empty, because I don't see anything in help about it, and there's nothing in any of the menus I can find about importing data.

For most installations, Logos 4 will do this automatically. If you have installed 3.0 someplace unexpected, type "Scan (3 Resource Directory}" in the command bar. For more information, look at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/3193.aspx

Logos will do that on it's own. You do not need to import anything. You will just have all your resources (many of them in the newer version) in Logos 4. Just let the program downloads and you get cup of coffee and relax.

EDIT: In the Beta time we were able to use scan command in the command bar (scan C:\ your path to the v3 resources) but there is no need for that.

If by "content" you mean your old notes and highlights and such, this is not yet available but it is coming soon. See this post from Logos to read a little about missing features and when they will be available. Importing notes and highlights is listed as "Coming Very Soon". Logos knows this will be essential for many users and they are at work to provide this tool.

There is a need if one wishes to reduce/avoid downloading for a first or second installation.
