Does the SESB 3 work on the iPhone/iPad app? There is no iPhone/iPad icon at http://www.logos.com/product/5181/stuttgart-electronic-study-bible but on some of the posts in this forum its seems that some are using it on their iPhone/iPad/iTouch.

Thanks,

David

Welcome to the forums. I have SESB 3.0 and I am able to access some of its resources on iPad and iPod Touch. However, some don't seem to work like the apparatus for NA 27 though the sigla do show up in the Greek text.

    Alan,

Thank you for your quick reply.

Does the BHS and its morphology (SESB 3) work on the iPad/iPhone? Or is it better to purchase the BHS with Westminster 4.2 morphology (http://www.logos.com/product/1979/biblia-hebraica-stuttgartensia-bhs-hebrew-with-westminster-42-morphology). The BHS with Westminster 4.2 is almost $100, while the SEBS 3 is almost $325, but with a lot more tools. The issue is not necessarily money, but rather if it works well on the iPad environment? Does the Septuagint and its morphology work?

    Blessings,

    David

There is limited morphological functionality in iPad. You can access morphological data together with lemma and pronunciation info via the Lookup option when you touch and hold a word in the Hebrew text.

Frankly, I can see no difference between how BHS Westminster works compared with SESB (I have both). The real difference only becomes fully apparent when you use SESB in Logos 4 Mac, when its much richer functionality becomes obvious.

    Hope that helps.
