Trying to search terms such as Palestine and inerrancy yield 0 results when I search using the built in Themelios collection. If I open a few of the issues and search on "open resources" I get hits. Does anyone else see this behavior?
Is Indexing finished yet? Getting 0 results on a newly downloaded resource would suggest that it isn't. Wait until the blue Logos notification icon disappears and then try again.
That was my first thought - but it had finished. As I said, if I open a few issues and search on "open resources" I get hits. I tried it with Tyndale Commentary built in group and get hits. Are you able to use Themelios built in collection?
That's odd. I can search in the Themelios built-in collection. Can you post a screenshot of your Search tab with it not working? Here's a shot of mine working. What's different about how you set up your search?

What about the options on your Search panel menu? In particular, make sure that "Match case" is off. (Although if you'd had that on, I would have thought it would have affected your search in All Open Resources, too.)
If everything is the same for your search and Indexing is definitely finished and you're still getting no results, please enable diagnostic logging and post log files here: Logos4Indexer.log (to see if there were any errors in indexing) and a Logos4.log from a session in which you've tried this search and failed to find any results.
