SUPERBUG: nothing ... for at least four minutes

I click on the lectionary reading - and get a blank work page

I enter a search term - and get a blank work page

Any action that I start on the work page, works correctly. The popup window on the prayer list (front page ribbon) works correctly.

This behavior began with the newest beta (yesterday)

Okay, I minimized Logos and eventually did get a work page ... sometime after a four minute wait.

Various people have been having problems which seem to indicate a broken index since yesterday. Might have been the new beta or might have been the Themelios download in some cases. Check your Logos4Indexer.log for errors (and post it for Logos devs to look at), and try rebuild index.

EDIT: Well, I can reproduce the problem of entering a search term in the Go box on the Home page bringing up a blank layout. Then Minimize/Restore brings up Search tab, but it doesn't take a four minute wait for me. Logs?

In a different thread (I'll have to look it up) Dave Hooton suggested that the screen populated after several minutes. This may be the same/similar bug that will be addressed in the next beta.

Various people have been having problems which seem to indicate a broken index since yesterday. Might have been the new beta or might have been the Themelios download in some cases. Check your Logos4Indexer.log for errors (and post it for Logos devs to look at), and try rebuild index.

The Beta layout issues are not related to a broken index and will supposedly be fixed in the next beta, but the reports from the Themelios download are a concern.

I didn't order Themelios - I just don't want problems with the JBL. I had discounted indexes because everything works correctly (or appears to - I didn't do an exhaustive test) when I start from the work page. I'm glad to know its not just me. I think I'll take the wait and see approach for the next few hours.
