BUG: Beta 4

I opened a layout that is depicted in the first screen shot. Then I open a note file in a floating window and drag it to a second monitor. As long as the note file is open, no resources will open and L4 cannot execute any commands. If I close the note file the program functions properly. If I dock the notefile L4 functions properly as well.

This might be related to a bug that has been discussed in other threads (http://community.logos.com/forums/t/33014.aspx) but I'm not sure, since yours involves a second monitor which is not relevant for the other bug category. I don't have a second monitor, so I can't test it and confirm the problem.

Could be. I have a feeling that whatever changes were made in this Beta that is causing the issues in the other threads are all related. It may be that the bug in the notes display when in compact view is related as well. Hopefully the fix that is mentioned in the other thread will take care of everything.
