Issue with Notes

When I try to "add a note to...", a person commentary, why do I have to scroll to go find the commentary note for the passage? Shouldn't the software take me directly there?

Also, is there a way to copy text into a note with my preferred font instead of me having to format each new note that I have pasted into?

Yes, it definitely should, but unfortunately it doesn't yet on Mac.

Not that I've found. Drives me crazy too.
