Alpha "Waiting for Indexer"

Thanks to the kindness of some Logos friends, I just installed Logos for Mac Alpha.  Thank you friends!

Now I have it downloaded and installed.

I ran the first time and got the blank screen which I understand it all there is.

I restarted and now I get a message "Waiting for Indexer"

Is this what I should expect?  Is it downloading resources and indexing?

If you got to the blank screen, then you should have successfully installed the Alpha. I have been indexing all day long! But I can browse my library and open books.

Joe,

Indexing on the Mac takes a while and is a bit of a resource hog. Hope you don't expect to do much while it is going!

That said, "waiting for indexer" usually disappears for me before it moves on to the full indexing process.

okay, I see it now.  The status bar threw me off since we did not have a similar item during the Windows beta. Now that I see the blue Logos icon along the top, I see it is in Step 1 of 3.  That make sense now.

Yes, I have many long hours of experience with indexing :-(  My real question was, how do I know it is indexing and not crashed.  But I assume as long as the little blue icon is up and the status window is moving it is working.
