Hi any opinions as to how the new imacs will increase speed of use of logos 4?

    Opinion: all new iMacs should noticeably improve responsiveness of Logos 4 Mac.

    Looking at http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Processors-Benchmarklist.2436.0.html noticed 3.4 GHz Quad Core i7 (desktop) CPU is 9 % to 21 % faster than 3.1 GHz Quad Core i5.  Also noticed 2nd generation 3.1 GHz Quad Core i5 is 10 % to 24 % faster than 1st generation 2.93 GHz Quad Core i7 (prior generation fastest iMac).  Top of the line 27" iMac about 33 % faster (what took 4 seconds on 1st generation Quad Core i7 should take about 3 seconds using 2nd generation 3.4 GHz Quad Core i7)

    The 27' iMac has 2 Thunderbolt ports; reading rumors about external Thunderbolt drives, an attractive option for Solid State Disk (SSD) that can share port with video streaming without speed degradation.

    Observation: iMac memory upgrades are easy to do (and less expensive than Apple build to order options).
