CAD?- Not drafting

Chicago has finally finished the massive Chicago Assyrian Dictionary, and it's all available to download for free in individual volumes. I've seen some Logos books recently with links to the CAD. Since they're distributing it freely, I'd like to see Logos look into distribution via Logos

A good companion and bridge volume would be this one. An Akkadian Lexicon Companion for Biblical Hebrew

Yikes ! I just realized that I didn't copy my CAD file to my new computer. I hope they don't erase the disk while my laptop is in for repair or I'll need to download all of it again. "Pray for us sinners now and in the hour of our death."

Bump. Was just reading MJ Smith's post which linked to an Akkadian blog. These resources would be great to have, and expand Logos further into the Academic sector.

It took tremendously talented rationalizing:

1. George liked it. He didn't like much.

2. All 21 volumes used like new (hope not a distress covid casualty)

3. Arizona store (dry climate, etc)

4. I got the Logos Aramaic Bible, so now extra space in my sewing room.

5. L9 coming out. Not much I want, except CAD.

Ok!

Arrived. Turned out, the dealer was the next valley south (Big Bug Creek). Which we'd planned to visit next week ... nostalgia, my Dad taught Bible classes there 60 years ago. But the original owner was a rabbi schooled in ANE and Ugarit, and living in the next valley further south. So now, all 26 volumes are spread out on the carpet. An odd journey that originally began in 1921.
